The exterior is a polyurethane coated nylon. Both the fabric and zipper offer water proof protection. There is a foam padding that surrounds the instrument offering increased protection against thermal extremes and impact. These covers include 2 adjustable, padded backpack straps, as well as a side and front handle. The bridge has reinforced external padding that offers extra protection, as well as an insulated bow sleeve. There is a full size sheet music pocket, and two smaller accessory pockets.
